Howdy folks, we're back with episode 39, in the studio with Felix and Logan from Maquina Peligrosa this week. The guys have a new 7 inch out, a show this weekend and more coming up in August. They're super cool guys, been around playing in loads of great local bands and now are sinking their time and teeth into this psych surf garage monster, Maquina Peligrosa or Death Machine, they are every part machine and screaming surf guitars standing in the face of death, haha or something like that. We chat about all that noise and the origins of their sound and the band, last minute gigs with Cinco Savage, their sweet blend of grungy garage surf, Dick Dale, their new single Chased by Goons, punchy grooves, Metallica and Def Leppard, Fat Freddys Drop and Shapeshifter, cross pollinated gigs, King Kingo from Brisbane (if you remember them), Exotica, Ministry, NIN, The ReChords 2 year residency at the Gem (remember when the stage was against the Wellington Street wall?), Elvis gets a mention, David Lynch does as well, Rob interrupts us and we take time to address our love for Chicken Wings.
